Description
Suren Voskanyan was born in Yerevan, Armenia, in 1960. He demonstrated his artistic passion early in life, which led him to pursue formal art education.
In 1982, he graduated from the P. Terlemezian Art College in Yerevan, laying the foundation for his artistic skills and knowledge.
His artistic journey took him to the Hermitage Museum in Leningrad in 1983, where he studied the technique and style of masters of impressionism and post-impressionism, enriching his artistic repertoire.
In 1993, he completed his formal education by graduating from the Yerevan Fine Arts Institute.
Suren Voskanyan’s commitment to the arts extended to education when, in the same year, he became a Professor and Art Instructor at the Design University of Yerevan, where he could share his knowledge and passion with aspiring artists.
His dedication to the arts community was further evident when he joined the Realistic Artists’ Union of Armenia in 1999, becoming part of an organization that supports and promotes realistic art in Armenia.
