Artist Biography

Aramayis (Mayis) Mkhitarian, a distinguished Armenian artist, was born in Tbilisi in 1962. He studied at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts from 1983 to 1987. In 1996, he moved to Yerevan at the invitation of art critic Henrik Igityan, establishing his presence in the Armenian art scene.
