Artist Biography

Kadjick Hakobyan was an Armenian painter born in 1953 in Echmiadzin, Armenia. He demonstrated a passion for art early on and graduated from the Terlemezyan Art School in Yerevan in 1965. He continued his studies and graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Arts in 1980. Throughout his career, Hakobyan was an active member of the Painters Society of Armenia and participated in numerous exhibitions both in Armenia and abroad, including notable shows in Moscow, Turkey, and Lebanon. His artistic contributions were recognized in personal exhibitions held in cities like Yerevan, Echmiadzin, and Gyumri. Kadjick Hakobyan’s life and career were tragically cut short when he passed away in 1999 in his hometown of Echmiadzin. His legacy endures through his art, which continues to resonate with audiences and collectors alike
