Vahan Roumelian was born in 1963 in Yerevan, Armenia. His artistic journey began with his education at the P. Terlemezian Art College, where he graduated in 1986, followed by studying abstract art in Paris in 1988. He completed his formal training at the Yerevan Fine Arts Institute in 1991. Roumelian’s work is characterized by a unique fusion of colors and forms that seek to capture the essence of the human soul. His paintings are often described as a musical expression, where colors “breathe” and resonate, creating an emotional dialogue through visual art.
