Artist Biography

Hrach Avakyan, born on June 18, 1963, in Gyumri, Armenia, is a distinguished painter known for his contributions to Armenian art. He studied at the Art School named after P. Kojoyan from 1974 to 1978 and continued his education at the Art School named after P. Terlemezyan between 1978 and 1982. In 1996, Avagyan became a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, and in 2013, he joined the Union of Artists of Armenia. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous exhibitions in Yerevan, Moscow, New Jersey, and Paris. His works often explore themes of culture, music, and abstract expressionism, utilizing oil on canvas as his primary medium.
