Ashot Yan (Grigoryan), born in 1983 in Yerevan, Armenia, is a talented artist with a lifelong passion for the arts. His artistic journey began at H. Kojoyans High School of Arts, where he developed his skills by copying classics in museums.
He earned a Master of Arts degree in Painting from the Yerevan State Fine Arts Academy in 2006. Ashot worked as an instructor at Maluntians Art School from 2008 to 2011 and illustrated over 15 books. In 2016, he explored printmaking at IMOGA.
Since leaving his role as an instructor, Ashot has focused on his career as a painter. His works are held in private collections worldwide, including Imoga Art Museum in Turkey, Italy, France, the USA, Russia, Lebanon, and Malta. Ashot Yan’s journey is a testament to his dedication to art and his global artistic influence.
